Alistair Begg is the Bible teacher on Truth For Life, a daily and weekend program that brings the exposition of Scripture to a global audience through radio, podcast, and a wide range of digital and streaming platforms. Since its launch in 1995, Truth For Life has featured teaching drawn from Alistair’s decades of faithful preaching at Parkside Church, where he served as senior pastor from 1983 until 2025. Today, Alistair is actively engaged with Truth For Life and speaks frequently at conferences throughout the United States and around the world, where he encourages pastors, theology students, and believers and proclaims the Gospel to those who have yet to come to faith in Jesus Christ. Alistair is the author of several books, including The Man on the Middle Cross, Name Above All Names, Pray Big, and Brave by Faith. His books have been translated into many languages and are read by a global audience. Alistair began in pastoral ministry in 1975 after graduating from the London School of Theology. Before joining Parkside Church, he served for eight years in Scotland, ministering at Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh and Hamilton Baptist Church.

Michael Payne is the worship pastor at White Fields Community Church in Longmont, Colorado. Born and raised in Sun Valley, South Africa, right at the tip of the continent, he moved with his parents to America in 1983 and lived in Aurora, Colorado for seven years before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. Michael spent six years with the United States Marine Corps before God called him to Hungary as missionary and worship leader in 1996. Following 21 years on the mission field, he returned to Colorado in 2017 with his wife, Marika and youngest son, Dávid to serve the Longmont community at White Fields Community Church. Through the ups and downs of life, she has always known God loves her and has a plan for her life. As such, Shannon is passionate about her walk with God. He has brought her through the deepest valleys and led her toward great victories and triumphs without leaving her side. Having never seen a trial wasted, and through it all knowing God has never left her side, Shannon knows first-hand that God’s promises are available to everyone. It is no surprise that Shannon is known as a personal encourager. Over the years, Shannon has been blessed to travel the world leading worship, as well as speaking at women’s events and retreats, leading small groups, and serving as a trusted confidant to friends. However, one of her greatest joys and privileges is working as a biblical counselor to women, walking them through the darkest times of their lives and helping them by revealing the hope Jesus offers.
