Jennie Mitchell (1885-1978): Today we will be looking at one of Pastor Chuck Smith’s favorite speakers, leaders, and visionaries. She was a frequent speaker at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa during the “Jesus People Movement.” Jenny was born on the plains of Nebraska. Her father was a horse thief. After moving to Los Angeles at the turn of the century, she was called by the Lord into full-time service. During her 60 years of ministry, she traveled the world sharing the gospel, started the GO YE FELLOWSHIP with her husband Andrew, and had a weekly radio broadcast. Her story is both colorful and extraordinary!
