Today’s culture presents a uniquely intense time to contend for the faith. Pastors Brian Brodersen, Richard Cimino and John Hwang engage in discussion for how pastoral leaders can be properly equipped (and equip their congregation), in order to defend the faith. “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense…” (1 Peter 3:15)

Brian Brodersen

Brian Brodersen is the pastor of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He also serves as president of the Calvary Global Network, chancellor of Calvary Chapel Bible College, and co-founder and director of Creation Fest UK. Brian is the featured speaker on the Back to Basics radio program and co-host of the live call-in program Pastors’ Perspective. Brian holds an M.A. in Ministry and Leadership from Wheaton College.

Richard Cimino

Richard Cimino is the founding pastor of Metro Calvary. Richard has a deep love for God’s work in the UK and Brazil engages in regular outreach & discipleship in both places..

John Hwang

John Hwang serves at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa as a teaching pastor and the director of the Pastors School.​​
